Danny realizes he loves Nicholas, and that he's got to give him a reason to stick around. So with brilliant, canonesque Butterman logic, Danny decides the best plan is to turn gay. Somehow. High jinks ensue, and things get a bit complicated. This is on my 31 flavors list because it's so amusing. :D

I dig this vid so much; it makes me cackle every time I watch it. It's as much of a fun parody as the film. Hot Fuzz (2007) is one of my favorite movies, a fun buddy cop action comedy that stands up 12 years later because of its satiric bite and the rapport the actors have. This is a 12,608-word Yuletide 2008 story that I thought I had rec'd long ago, but unless I forgot to tag the entry, I guess I didn't. (I think I might have been saving it for the holidays, but I don't want to wait even longer.) It's charming, and you should read it.

I selected this story for the entertainment factor. Ann gives us five scenarios that are fun to read, although I'm glad none of them happened. If I had to choose, #1 is my favorite because it shows that Nicholas Angel persistence.

Reading this makes me want to re-watch the movie, too.
